TP, tre famiglie di tappeti fatti a mano in Sardegna, con lana di pecore sarde, con tecnica sarda, e da sardi che lavorano quando si sentono ispirati a farlo. Una idea di sostenibilità legata ad un modo diverso di vivere e, solo poi, di produrre.
“I tappeti erano le case dei nomadi, loro li stendevano, ovunque fossero arrivati, e lì era la loro casa. Mi sono guardata intorno, ho capito che viviamo in un periodo in cui tutti, in un modo o nell’altro, sono nomadi, e ho pensato che ci fosse bisogno di più tappeti.” (Ilaria I.)
Tradizione artigianale e sensibilità attuale si incontrano in questa collezione di nove tappeti, prodotti con telaio a mano ed annodati - sempre a mano - secondo la tradizionale tecnica di produzione sarda di Villa Massargia.

TP”, a collection of three families of handmade carpets, made with wool from sardinian sheeps, with sardinian craftwork technique, and from sardinian people that work when they feel like. Ilaria shows a different way of sustainability, starting from a different way of living and, only after that, of producing.
“Carpets were nomad’s houses. Wherever they decided to stop, they laid them, and there was their home. Looking around I realized that we live in a period in wich anyone, in a way, is nomad. So I thought that we need more carpets.”(Ilaria I.)
In this collection of nine carpets, accuracy of handcraft and cutting-edge design are mixed. In fact, Ilaria’s carpets are built with hand looms, using the ancient technique of Villa Massargia (Sardinia).
